So you are ready to commit to the process. Know that you are expected to meet or exceed the criteria established by the co-trustees so that the honor of Daniel Airey's generosity and values are appreciated and enjoyed by future beneficiaries of the trust.
APPLICATION CHECKLIST
1. Cover letter stating your intent to attend college or professional school and which school you will be attending.
2. Essay (one or two-page, single-spaced Word/Google document, Times New Roman or Georgia, 12 pt), that states:
what values you have in common with Uncle Dan that show your commitment to making the most of your education concerning life, family, work and financial values
why you desire to pursue higher education, graduate, professional or trade school
why you chose the school you are attending
what fields of study interest you
where you would like to be (your station of life) in five years after graduating from college
describe what steps you will take to maintain a 2.0 or higher GPA throughout college or professional school

Additional required documents:
Provide a copy of your high school diploma, GED or equivalency. (Do not INCLUDE if the applicant is over 21)
Copy of your senior year report card that shows your final GPA/grades. (Do not INCLUDE if the applicant is over 21)
Provide a copy of your college acceptance letter.
Provide a copy of the tuition bill from the finance department at the college, institution or professional school
Attach receipts that support your request for funding for Lines 7-9 above.
Copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR)
